Would Beast Boy and Guy Gardner get along well personally and/or in a team dynamic, in your opinion? What kind of relationship would they have?

!!! I think they would get on, gar I think feels a lil lost w/o a leader and guy’s confidence would like be a comfort because he feels like he has it all under control and gar’s safe to goof!! I think they mesh pretty well as gar finds comfort in guys confidence and gar’s carefree nature makes guy feel free without being judged or criticised.

As yanderes i think guy n gar are v similar but gar is so much softer whereas I think guy is a lot more likely to kidnap and jealousy isn’t as easily dealt with, with gar you give him a hug and he’s over it whereas guy is fantasising about bashing someone’s head in while he’s in your arms!!!!

Can we get some headcanons on a romantic yandere Guy Gardner? I feel like he’s very much the protective type, and a little delusional in the fact that his darling “needs” him, that they can’t do anything for themselves?

I agree! He’s very delusional and protective, of course that doesn’t mean he isn’t a complete ass to his darling! Because he is! Especially in the beginning of their relationship.

He’s not exactly a “love at first sight” yandere but he is at the same time, it takes him seemingly “connecting” with his darling to him to shift into obsessing over them.

Whether it be having a one on one conversation with them in a meaningful way or them indulging him (ex: Him singing about his shapely ass in Young Justice)

He’s extremely forward. As soon as he feels like it he’s already “courting” them. And by courting I mean he’s going to be getting way too comfortable with his darling way too fast. He’s suddenly acting like he’s their closest friend and has authority with them. His “courting” really only lasts like a week before he starts behaving like their boyfriend.

He’ll make fun of them for thinking that they aren’t dating. Of course they’re together! If they weren’t then why are they going on dates? He loves teasing and making fun of his darling, he views it as tough love! Guy doesn’t genuinely mean most of the things he says, he just enjoys doing it. They’ll be encouraged to do it right back as well! Most of his darling’s fits of anger towards him will be taken as them being a bit too harsh with the teasing. Which is fine with him! He’ll help them learn a proper in between with their “jokes”.

He’s pretty delusional so he’s not going to realize he’s gone too far with his “tough love” until his darling is sobbing because of how shitty his “teasing” made them feel or just how overwhelmed they are. Because I  guarantee you that they’ll be overwhelmed.

As they start “dating”, his darling will slowly see their free time dwindle away until the only time truly alone will be when Guy is away on a mission. Fortunately his darling doesn’t actually have to worry about being locked up in most cases! The worst in this case is Guy having trackers in some of their favorite things. Though his darling could go out and about if they wanted to, they’ll be so pent up and frustrated they’ll just want to be alone for a while at least.

He’s a whiny arrogant mf, but honestly could be fun depending on the darling! I’m currently trying to write headcanons for Guy and I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to get it out after my appointment later!
