this is against the spirit of the meme but i think i can make all of these about hal jordan. i apologize in advance

blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most) - i didnt care about hal jordan at all until i was told that he was sky crazy. i had just seen come from away so any character that Just Wants To Fly is immediately my beloved. anyway then i shotgunned a bunch of green lantern comics and found out that theyre all deranged. love them all! but especially hal.

scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped) - again Hal Time. i could probably make a collage of every time he gets grabbed like the damsel from king kong. spiritually he is making a squeaky toy noise every time.

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave) - Hal Is Absolutely Not Underrated but i think outside of the GL fandom most of the green lanterns get sorta neglected. f in chat for the dceu just having No Lanterns. even in dc comics fandom i think a lotta people just think of hal as the generic lantern, like how guy gardner is thought of as the rude ginger guy that batman punched once. theres more to them! they have layers, like onions, like ogres.

glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week) i think this the only one i CANT make about hal but also, like in all superhero comics?? if you see YOUR favourite appearing briefly in someone else's run, you go poggers.

poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave) - PARALLAX HAL. HAL'S HOT GIRL SUMMER. POSTER CHILD FOR MALE HYSTERIA. LOVE THIS BITCH. dc wanted to reboot GL and get a new boy, so how do we get hal out of the picture? destroy his city and make him go full wandavision trying to recreate it and all the people that died! the guardians say no, so he snaps and murders them, as well as like....all the other lanterns on his way to doing that. crushed by his failure to protect his people, he decides the world is fucked and the only way to fix it is to start it over. cue zero hour, where he very nearly managed to reset the entire universe! the death toll was ENORMOUS! he got shot through the heart by his best bud oliver queen before he could finish it though. this triggers ollie's depression arc WHICH IS A WHOLE OTHER THING,,, anyway. well he got shot but he got better because he's hopped up on ultimate cosmic power and whatnot. the 90s comics continue while he is moping in outer space until a sun eater almost destroys the earth, so he comes back and throws himself into the sun to reignite it, dying for realsies this time. and on top of all that the CHANEL THIGH HIGH BOOTS? THE CAPE? iconic. later all this was retconned to be because he was possessed by a yandere space worm that was in love with him. which is also hilarious. someone deworm this man. after he died he became spectre for a while, until kyle rayner dragged his corpse out of the sun and he got to be a lantern again.

horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason) - hal really is most fun when he's fucking going thru it so like. Yeah. top 10 moments is when he's uncharacteristically quiet and looking blankly and ominously into the middle distance, so Every Character Who Was There For His First Hot Girl Summer is just like:

eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell) - he already went to hell like, twice. once it was with superman. they had a great boys night out. vaguely related but i think sinestro once went through an orpheus and eurydice-esque journey into the underworld and/or spectre hal's subconscious?? and then also one time he and sinestro shared a ring and ended up yeeted to the Death Dimension together. sinestro got himself out so hal had to fling himself off a cliff and Fall To His Death to solve this problem. you can put a lot of icarus flavour into this guy

Sɪᴍᴏɴ Bᴀᴢ

He’s probably the most seemingly normal yandere in this harem, letting him genuinely get close to the darling. He feels like an actual friend, and will act like one— albeit his protective tendencies.

He’ll gage how comfortable they are with him and use it to balance himself around them. Simon will hang out around them as often as they’ll allow and in return he (happily) listen to their problems. He starts acting as if he’s already their lover, but he won’t go too far with it until he gets the hint that they want him to. Or if one of the other lanterns gets too close.

He tries to plant doubt in their mind about how safe the other lanterns are, wanting them to view him as their protecter.

Simon hates all of them, but he hates Hal the most because of how entitled he acts. As if he has some claim to the darling regardless of how the darling feels.

Kʏʟᴇ Rᴀʏɴᴇʀ

Kyle is the most distant yandere. He acts somewhat harsh to the darling, pissed off about his feelings towards them. Everyone he loves dies or leaves in some way, so he doesn’t want to feel the way he does.

But as all yanderes eventually figure out, trying to get rid of their feelings only make their obsession 100% worse.

He attempts to awkwardly rekindle whatever relationship they could have, but because of his behavior previously, this could go pretty bad.

He mostly accepts stalking them and being a distant “friend”. He decides to slowly try to rebuild their relationship and let them think he’s giving them the space they need (when he’s actually heavily stalking them). This, depending on the kind of darling, could give him friendship/relationship points as many of the other characters don’t give them space.

Kyle hates Guy and Simon the most. Guy, as he’s overly confident and delusional. Though he’s more jealous than anything else of Simon because how easy it seemed for him to get close to the darling.

Jᴇssɪᴄᴀ Cʀᴜᴢ

Jessica seems like she has the best chance at winning them over at first, and then a few months pass and suddenly darling is doing everything and anything to get a breath of air.

She acts like the perfect girlfriend, then eventually a switch flips and Jessica starts to panic the second she doesn’t know where darling is.

She’s the yandere most likely to put a tracker on (or in) reader in this group. Her paranoia could easily rub off on the darling if they aren’t careful.

If darling can look past the controlling paranoia and just accepts ‘hanging out’ with Jessica almost every moment of the day, then surely this relationship will bloom into something beautifully isolated.

The only one she’d ever be able to somewhat trust is Simon, otherwise? The rest could drop dead for all she cares. She just wants to take darling somewhere quiet and peacefully live together.

Gᴜʏ Gᴀʀᴅɴᴇʀ

A super fun guy! He’s so upbeat it’s easy for most darlings to look past his red flags. At first all the “dates” are so fun! It’ll become easier for the darling to let their guard down, after all they’re having so much fun! All their troubles seem to melt away.

It’s easy to slip into somewhat of a honeymoon phase with Guy, his yandere tendencies aren’t super obvious until darling starts to really go against him. He’ll become the one they call up when they want to get away from the normalcy of life.

Soon enough, Darling will realize their mistake and try to get away. Not like it’ll work, of course. His calls will match his darlings and suddenly they’re getting a hundred or more calls a day!

Hey! It’s not fair to just throw him away like that? Won’t they do anything to fix it? They’re really hurting his feelings! Haha, he knows they’ll be his again soon enough— so it really doesn’t matter how long it takes. He doesn’t mind groveling a bit if it means he’ll get even a drop of attention from his darling.

He doesn’t care about any of them, why should he? It’s pretty clear that they’re his. Though, Hal pisses him off. If he had a least favorite rival it’d probably be John, he’s so straight-laced! How boring.

Jᴏʜɴ Sᴛᴇᴡᴀʀᴛ

He’s worse than Hal in some aspects. Friendly to the darling for a few weeks, then suddenly out of no where it looks like he’s mad at them! Darling is confused, but doesn’t really know him well at that point— depending on the darling, they might just run off instead of questioning him.

That’s when he’s suddenly approaching them, it’s scary! He looks so serious and angry... and then darling is even more confused when they’re handed a book. See, John is more worried about you than most of them, so he made you a weekly schedule to follow!

It’s easily a hundred pages long, so naturally darling is probably gonna laugh it off. He’ll start pressuring them into actually following it, degrading them in their “disorder”. There are certain situations where he lets up on it but otherwise? Darling might as well kiss their stress-free life goodbye!

Honestly he’s probably the reason they begin hanging out with Guy so often. He won’t notice until it’s too late to fix his relationship with darling, but he’s sure that there’s nothing a good talking to can fix. And if that doesn’t work? Well, there are other ways to force someone to listen to you.

He actually doesn’t really hate any of them, besides for Guy. See, John understands why they all seem interested in darling, the darling is pretty great afterall! But Guy? Not only is he an uncooperative dick, but he’s too carefree. Darling will rot under his care, so John can’t let that happen.

Hᴀʟ Jᴏʀᴅᴀɴ

He’s flirty, charismatic, attractive... what darling wouldn’t get somewhat of a crush/squish on a guy like him? Someone who knows what other people want? Some Darlings could figure out he’s trying to manipulate them early on, either way he’ll keep on trying.

He’s the perfect boyfriend after all! Darling won’t talk to him? Ahhh they must not be feeling well, he’ll do something nice for them! Do they like flowers? Cute plushes? Movies? Food? He’ll do anything to make them feel better!

Huh? Restraining order? Aww they’re so cute! He’ll think they’re playing hard to get, well that, or he’ll think they’re having a couple’s fight.

The worst one in this group by far, his eagerness to prove his love to his darling will take him beyond the limit of normal. Even normal yandere wise, it’s more intense than most yanderes would allow. Good Luck darling, you’ll need any chance you can get with this one.

He thinks they’re all worthless fuckers. Especially Guy, who the hell does he think he is? He can’t just waltz in and take you away from him! Clearly that’s what’s up, darling prefers him anyway. Hal is definitely better, darling should say so too.

You were cooking food for the Angels, or your family. They weren't actually your blood family of course because if they were, this story could've been darker. "Hmm~ hm~" you hummed. "Viola!" You exclaimed. The food you cooked for everyone seemed great.

"Everyone, time for dinner!" You yelled, then suddenly a man with a hoodie and a boy with a pumpkin head appeared. The others slowly walked to the dinner table. You noticed that everyone was there other than Rachel Gardner or what people mainly call her Ray. "Where's Ray?" You asked them.

"She's still in her room, she'll come down soon enough." Gray informed you. "Oh, Okay. Thanks father." You thanked him with a smile. You walked towards the dinner table and sat beside Zack. "Hey, kid. Nice food, ay?" Zack said and messed up your hair. (If you don't have hair, pretend he patted you.)

You nodded and smiled at him. You loved Zack. Not in a romantic way of course, you loved him because he was like the father you never had. Y'know despite him being the father, you always took care of him. But you didn't mind because you loved him. However Eddie didn't know that you loved him as a father and sometimes got jealous of how you always cling to him.

You would rather spend your time with an ugly person like Zack than your amazing best friend Eddie? Eddie scoffed at that thought. Ray finally arrived. "Good morning Ray!" You and Eddie said simultaneously. You patted the seat beside Eddie, you wanted to sit beside him but you feel like he wouldn't want it.

"Good morning, M/N." She said and sat beside you and Eddie. Did I mention you guys were also close? "What about me Ray?" Eddie whined. Ray ignored him much to Eddie's dismay. "Eddie, take it off." You said. Eddie nodded and took his pumpkin mask (?)

All of you started to eat but before you ate you put some (favorite seasoning) on your food. "Don't you think that's too much?" Cathy said. She was acting really bossy today. "So?" You replied. "Hah?! What do you mean!?" She said in an angry tone. Cathy got irritated at you. Cathy had a small temper.

"Cathy calm down." Gray scolded Cathy. She scoffed. While you continued eating your delicious food. Cathy also continued eating her food. Zack couldn't help but laugh a bit.

"Okay everyone, be prepared for this Tuesday. We are getting a new sacrifice this Tuesday." Gray said and stood up. He walked towards you. He made sit up straight and fixed your hair. While he did that you stopped eating and forced a smile. You felt a bit uncomfortable.

"M/N this is your time to shine." Gray told you. You nodded and smiled at him. He also smiled at you. Then he left to doing his important stuff.

AFTER LUNCH

Eddie kept complimenting Rachel and kept saying that he loves her so much. You looked at Ray with jealousy. Despite you being Ray's best friend you can't help but be jealous. You sighed. You looked at your drawing of Eddie. "I wish I was Rachel." You muttered in a sad tone.

"huh what was that?" Eddie asked you. You gasped. "Eddie! What are you doing here?" You replied. "Also where's Ray? Weren't you with her a minute ago?" You continued.

"she left." Eddie replied with a smile, but you didn't know because of his mask. "Oh, um. Okay." You panicked, he was so close! "What are you drawing?" Eddie asked and tried to see what you were drawing. You immediately closed your drawing book and moved it away from him. "Nothing!" You said. Eddie whined and tried to get it but sadly he was too short.

"Aww, why not M/N?" Eddie whined. "It's a secret." You said. Eddie tried to get it but you moved it away from his reach. That's when you saw your guards. "I have to go now Ed. See ya!" You said and waved at him while you walked towards your floor. Eddie got upset. He sighed and said. "Why is he so distant now?" Eddie said in a sad tone while he hugged himself and walked to his floor.

You can skip this part. I'm just gonna explain what you do.

Your floor is basically a dreamland. Whatever the sacrifice's dream is, it happens on your floor.

Like say they dream of having guys love the sacrifice that happens. But in the very end they die, but how? Since it's a dreamland the dreamland kills the sacrifice slowly, at least they get to die in a peaceful way.

After they die you give their corpse to Eddie and make him bury them. But how will they escape? They force you to make it stop. You're the one in charge. For them to escape they have to convince you to stop it or solve the complicated puzzle your floor has.

There was 1 person who almost escaped but you caught them before they could leave.

It's been a week since you and Eddie ever interacted. Everytime Eddie tried to talk to you, You would disappear or just say you're busy.

This time Eddie wasn't gonna accept a "No." Eddie went to your floor with a shovel. Don't worry he won't kill you. "M/N! Oh M/N!!" Eddie called for you. He then saw you making a dreamland for the next sacrifice.

"M/N!" Eddie exclaimed and hugged you. Eddie then went on how he missed you. "Ugh, Eddie, get off!" You said and pushed him away. Eddie frowned. What did he do? What did he do wrong?

"huh? What did I do wrong now?" Eddie asked you. "Look, Eddie, I'm busy. So I'd appreciate it if you leave me alone. Now." You said in emphasizing the now.

"Guards." You said and snapped your fingers. You walked towards your room. "Wait M/N-" Eddie said, trying to reach you. But the guards stopped him.

1 HOUR LATER

Eddie entered your room with some injuries, he was panting. No wonder people barely escaped your room.

"You're so rude to me M/N, what did I ever do to deserve this?" Eddie said while panting. You gasped at the sight of Eddie. "What did they do to you? I only ordered them to bring you back to your floor!" You said in a worried tone and you examined Eddie's wounds.

"Here let me treat you." You told him and went to find first aid kits. You found one. You patted to your bed. Eddie understood what you meant and sat down.

"there we go!" You exclaimed. "Is there anything you need?" You asked him. "Yes, I do." Eddie said. "Hm?"

"Stay with me for a week, pay attention to me, just me. Nothing else." Eddie commanded. "Eddie, you know I can't do that." You told him.

"but M/N! You ignored me for a week and made me fight your guards!!" Eddie said, almost crying. "Okay! Okay! Geez!" You said.

"Yay!!"

A few weeks later

1 week he said. But it's been 2 weeks since you only paid attention to Eddie. He basically forced you to be his. You kept telling him to get together with Rachel but he would then get mad and say that you don't love him.

You asked Gray for help but he said and I quote. "Isn't this what you wanted? For Eddie to love you? You and him belong to each other." You tried reasoning with him that you never wanted for Eddie to be obsessed with you. He did nothing.

Oh right! He also told you that god told him that you guys belong to each other. Of course you doubted that. If only you knew that you fell into Eddie's trap.

thoughts on GUYTORA vs BEATORA

great question. my thoughts is that theres no vs about about it...i was a beatora supporter since the moment i saw them and when i got to the guytora developments i was like GRRR BARK BARK BARK STAY AWAY FROM HER but it grew on me, just like guy himself did...now i think theyre quite sweet ';__; i literally cant believe my complete 180 i did on guy lol i went from trying to make him die with my mind to becoming guy gardner defender 2000 when im reading the human target. anyways back to the girls i always thought they were so cute since theyre like set up to be a duo like booster and beetle are within the team and theres a lot of parallels with them being such close friends (first example that comes to mind is when ted was having his mind control moment and booster wasnt allowed to see him and tora wasnt allowed to see bea either and they bond about it in a cafe or sth. really sweet moment i always always love moments showcasing how close the four of them are as friends)

then they started having a bunch of drama filled emotional fucking arcs like the yandere gf moment in the overmaster arc and the eventual ENTIRE shit with sigrid in jla and i just actually finshed up jla classified recently and read the orpheus shit it was so shocking...and so so sad...the fact it was bea that was the one that turned back and you think for a second guy is going to snap at her but then they just hold eachother and cry cuz they were both in love with her...formerly known and jla classified were such shitshows but that moment was worth the road it took to get there...

blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most) - i didnt care about hal jordan at all until i was told that he was sky crazy. i had just seen come from away so any character that Just Wants To Fly is immediately my beloved. anyway then i shotgunned a bunch of green lantern comics and found out that theyre all deranged. love them all! but especially hal.

scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped) - again Hal Time. i could probably make a collage of every time he gets grabbed like the damsel from king kong. spiritually he is making a squeaky toy noise every time.

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave) - Hal Is Absolutely Not Underrated but i think outside of the GL fandom most of the green lanterns get sorta neglected. f in chat for the dceu just having No Lanterns. even in dc comics fandom i think a lotta people just think of hal as the generic lantern, like how guy gardner is thought of as the rude ginger guy that batman punched once. theres more to them! they have layers, like onions, like ogres.

glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week) i think this the only one i CANT make about hal but also, like in all superhero comics?? if you see YOUR favourite appearing briefly in someone else's run, you go poggers.

LOVE THIS BITCH. dc wanted to reboot GL and get a new boy, so how do we get hal out of the picture? destroy his city and make him go full wandavision trying to recreate it and all the people that died! the guardians say no, so he snaps and murders them, as well as like....all the other lanterns on his way to doing that. crushed by his failure to protect his people, he decides the world is fucked and the only way to fix it is to start it over. cue zero hour, where he very nearly managed to reset the entire universe! the death toll was ENORMOUS! he got shot through the heart by his best bud oliver queen before he could finish it though. this triggers ollie's depression arc WHICH IS A WHOLE OTHER THING,,, anyway. well he got shot but he got better because he's hopped up on ultimate cosmic power and whatnot. the 90s comics continue while he is moping in outer space until a sun eater almost destroys the earth, so he comes back and throws himself into the sun to reignite it, dying for realsies this time. and on top of all that the CHANEL THIGH HIGH BOOTS? THE CAPE? iconic. later all this was retconned to be because he was possessed by a yandere space worm that was in love with him. which is also hilarious. someone deworm this man. after he died he became spectre for a while, until kyle rayner dragged his corpse out of the sun and he got to be a lantern again.

horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason) - hal really is most fun when he's fucking going thru it so like. Yeah. top 10 moments is when he's uncharacteristically quiet and looking blankly and ominously into the middle distance, so Every Character Who Was There For His First Hot Girl Summer is just like:

eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell) - he already went to hell like, twice. once it was with superman. they had a great boys night out. vaguely related but i think sinestro once went through an orpheus and eurydice-esque journey into the underworld and/or spectre hal's subconscious?? and then also one time he and sinestro shared a ring and ended up yeeted to the Death Dimension together. sinestro got himself out so hal had to fling himself off a cliff and Fall To His Death to solve this problem. you can put a lot of icarus flavour into this guy

Can we get some headcanons on a romantic yandere Guy Gardner? I feel like he’s very much the protective type, and a little delusional in the fact that his darling “needs” him, that they can’t do anything for themselves?

I agree! He’s very delusional and protective, of course that doesn’t mean he isn’t a complete ass to his darling! Because he is! Especially in the beginning of their relationship.

He’s not exactly a “love at first sight” yandere but he is at the same time, it takes him seemingly “connecting” with his darling to him to shift into obsessing over them.

Whether it be having a one on one conversation with them in a meaningful way or them indulging him (ex: Him singing about his shapely ass in Young Justice)

He’s extremely forward. As soon as he feels like it he’s already “courting” them. And by courting I mean he’s going to be getting way too comfortable with his darling way too fast. He’s suddenly acting like he’s their closest friend and has authority with them. His “courting” really only lasts like a week before he starts behaving like their boyfriend.

He’ll make fun of them for thinking that they aren’t dating. Of course they’re together! If they weren’t then why are they going on dates? He loves teasing and making fun of his darling, he views it as tough love! Guy doesn’t genuinely mean most of the things he says, he just enjoys doing it. They’ll be encouraged to do it right back as well! Most of his darling’s fits of anger towards him will be taken as them being a bit too harsh with the teasing. Which is fine with him! He’ll help them learn a proper in between with their “jokes”.

He’s pretty delusional so he’s not going to realize he’s gone too far with his “tough love” until his darling is sobbing because of how shitty his “teasing” made them feel or just how overwhelmed they are. Because I  guarantee you that they’ll be overwhelmed.

As they start “dating”, his darling will slowly see their free time dwindle away until the only time truly alone will be when Guy is away on a mission. Fortunately his darling doesn’t actually have to worry about being locked up in most cases! The worst in this case is Guy having trackers in some of their favorite things. Though his darling could go out and about if they wanted to, they’ll be so pent up and frustrated they’ll just want to be alone for a while at least.

!!! I think they would get on, gar I think feels a lil lost w/o a leader and guy’s confidence would like be a comfort because he feels like he has it all under control and gar’s safe to goof!! I think they mesh pretty well as gar finds comfort in guys confidence and gar’s carefree nature makes guy feel free without being judged or criticised.

As yanderes i think guy n gar are v similar but gar is so much softer whereas I think guy is a lot more likely to kidnap and jealousy isn’t as easily dealt with, with gar you give him a hug and he’s over it whereas guy is fantasising about bashing someone’s head in while he’s in your arms!!!!
